In this article, we compare the DDR4 RAM available in the Indian Market. DDR4 series is the 4th Generation of Synchronous DRAM. It was launched in 2014. Many motherboards support DDR4 since then. It has double the bandwidth of DDR3.
We have talked about the RAM here. All your queries is also answered here.
For the table below, we have assumed the DDR4 RAM is installed in single. If installed in pairs (2 RAMs) then the number of Interfaces would double. Bandwidth also doubles. Please keep this in mind.
Before going through below, I highly recommend to visit the section on RAM and FAQs here.
In the 4 GB Category: Kinsgton HyperX Fury gives the best value good price. It has only 12.5 ns Latency and 19.2 GB/s bandwidth. If installed in pairs it will work great. As the bandwidth doubles.
In the 8 GB Category: Corsair Vengeance LPX gives best value with good price. Latency is only 10ns and bandwidth is above 25 GB/s. In best performance, Gigabyte Aorus RGB Fusion comes. Latency is just 8.6 ns and Bandwidth is above 35 GB/s.
In the 16 GB Category: Again Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 MHz comes at top. It has lowest latency of 10.7 ns and best bandwidth of above 25 GB/s.
In the 32 GB Category: Again Corsair Vengeance LPX comes at top. It has lowest latency of 10.7 ns and best bandwidth of above 24 GB/s.
